01 / USING SKILLFOLIO

Terms of service.

The terms for using our website, learning with our courses and working with our resources.

Version 1.0 · Last updated 23 September 2026.

Please read these terms before purchasing. You can save or print this page using your browser. The terms provided when you place an order apply to that order; later changes do not remove rights you already have.

Use these contact details for course access, billing, cancellation, accessibility requests or complaints. Include your purchase email and order reference where available. Never send card details, passwords or private recovery codes.

2. When these terms apply.

These terms cover skillfolio.courses, its course content, downloads and resource collection. Relevant course descriptions, the package you select and the information shown before payment form part of your purchase contract. Specific terms clearly disclosed for a particular offer apply to that offer alongside these terms.

By using the site, you agree to the applicable website-use terms. A paid order requires your separate decision to purchase. If you do not agree, do not place an order. Nothing here overrides mandatory consumer rights or a separate licence supplied with an open-source resource.

3. Eligibility and access.

You must be legally able to enter into a purchase contract where you live. If you are below that age, a parent or guardian must purchase and supervise access on your behalf. If you buy for an organisation, you must have authority to do so.

Provide accurate purchase information and protect any access links or recovery codes. Do not share access in a way that allows others to use a paid course without the appropriate licence. Contact us if you believe access has been used without permission. You are not automatically responsible for unauthorised use that is outside your reasonable control.

You need a compatible browser, internet connection for online features and software capable of opening the advertised downloads. Any specialist tools needed for a course are described in its prerequisites. Check those requirements before purchasing; contact us if they are unclear.

4. Courses and outcomes.

Course pages explain the subject, level, curriculum, included materials and price. The first lesson of each course is available free to read and download. Paid access unlocks the materials described for that course or package after payment is verified.

Courses are educational materials for independent learning. Descriptions of projects explain what you can practise and make; they do not guarantee employment, income, accreditation, professional qualification or any particular level of achievement. Your results depend on your circumstances and practice. Unless a course expressly includes it, individual coaching or assessment is not part of the purchase.

We must supply digital content and services that meet the contract and applicable legal standards. If material is missing, faulty or materially different from its description, contact us so we can address it. The absence of an outcome guarantee does not reduce those obligations.

5. Orders and payments.

Prices are displayed in US dollars. The final amount, any applicable taxes and whether payment is one-off or recurring must be shown before you confirm payment. Your payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion or other fees.

Payments are processed through Stripe. An order is accepted when successful payment is verified and your order is confirmed. If payment fails or an order cannot be fulfilled, we will not provide paid access for that order and will return any amount taken for an unfulfilled order. A test-mode checkout, when clearly labelled as such, is not a real purchase.

Check the course, package, price and billing interval before paying. If we discover an obvious pricing or description error, we will explain it and seek your agreement to the correct details or cancel and refund the affected order. We will not charge an increased amount without your agreement. Keep your receipt and order reference.

6. Subscriptions and lifetime access.

Individual courses. A one-off purchase provides access to the selected course and the downloads described with it. It does not start a recurring subscription.

Monthly studio. Monthly access renews at the price and interval disclosed at checkout until cancelled. It covers the included courses while your paid subscription is active. Use Packages and select “Manage plan / Restore access” to manage renewal. If that process does not work, contact us before the next renewal where possible.

Cancelling renewal stops future monthly charges. Online package access and new downloads end after the paid period, unless a refund or legal remedy changes that date. Cancelling renewal and asking for a refund are different requests; see cancellation and refunds.

Lifetime studio. This is a one-off payment for the advertised current and future courses for the lifetime of the Skillfolio platform. It is not a promise that the platform will operate indefinitely or for your natural lifetime. This description does not excuse us from fulfilling the contract or providing any remedy required if access ends prematurely.

Files already lawfully downloaded remain available on your device under their applicable licences. Keep your private package recovery code securely if you want to restore access in another browser. Contact us with proof of purchase if restoration fails. Learning progress and notes are stored separately in your browser.

Any future subscription price change will be explained in advance of the renewal it affects, with a reasonable opportunity to cancel before the new price is charged. It will not change the price of a period already paid for.

7. Cancellation and refunds.

Our published refund policy forms part of these terms, including its initial-purchase and renewal refund promises. You can also use Withdraw from contract to submit a request. These promises do not reduce your statutory rights.

Your statutory cancellation, withdrawal and digital-content remedies depend on the law that applies to your purchase. For eligible EU and UK distance purchases, a 14-day withdrawal period normally applies, subject to the relevant legal conditions and exceptions. Rights concerning faulty or misdescribed content are separate and can continue after that period.

For digital content supplied immediately, a right to withdraw can be lost only when all applicable legal requirements are met, including your prior express consent to starting supply and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of that right, with the required confirmation. Accepting these terms, visiting a page or making a payment alone does not provide that separate consent. We do not treat this page as a blanket waiver.

To withdraw or request a refund, email info@xperiencedsign.com with a clear statement of your request, your name, purchase email, order date and reference if available. No particular form of words is required. A request sent before an applicable deadline is sufficient; you do not need to wait for our reply.

Your message can simply state that you wish to withdraw and identify the course or package and your order. You do not have to give a reason.

Where you are legally entitled to withdraw, we will reimburse you without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, normally within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund fee. Any deduction for a service already supplied must be permitted by law and meet its consent requirements.

If content is faulty or does not match the contract, contact us to request the remedy available under applicable law, which may include correction, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Any more favourable refund promise expressly made with your purchase remains valid. Outside contractual or statutory rights, refunds are considered individually; this does not limit your legal rights.

8. Materials and licences.

We or the relevant rights holders own the course text, teaching assets, website design and branding. Unless a different licence is included, purchasing a course gives you a non-exclusive licence to access and use its materials for your own learning and to keep lawful downloads. You may develop your own projects from what you learn and show your original work in your portfolio.

You may not resell course access, share complete paid lessons publicly, remove rights notices or redistribute teaching materials as your own course. This does not prevent uses permitted by law, including applicable quotation or accessibility exceptions.

Resource licences take priority for those resources. Templates and other open-source files supplied with an MIT or other licence retain the permissions and conditions in that licence, including any permitted commercial use and redistribution. Fonts and dependencies may have separate licences. Read the resource licence notices and the notices packaged with each download. These terms do not withdraw permissions already granted under them.

The Skillfolio name and logo are not licensed for use in a way that suggests our endorsement. Replace illustrative business content and review third-party rights before publishing an adapted template.

9. Your work and saved progress.

You retain rights in the original work you create. We do not claim ownership of your projects, notes or local customisations because you use Skillfolio. If you send material to support, you permit us to use it only as reasonably necessary to address your request, subject to applicable privacy law.

Saved items, progress, notes and some access information use browser storage. They synchronise between devices only when you enable optional automatic sync while signed in and may be removed by clearing storage, changing browsers or using private browsing. Keep copies of important work and use the available export and download controls. A package recovery code restores eligible package access, not your local notes or progress. You can also sign in using your purchase email at Account and recovery to recover purchases and manually back up or restore learning progress. Our obligations to provide paid access and legal remedies still apply.

10. Acceptable use.

Use the platform lawfully and with respect for others. Do not bypass payment or access controls, interfere with security, distribute malicious code, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual-property rights or use the service to harass others. Do not use automated access that materially disrupts the site or improperly collects personal data.

These restrictions do not prohibit lawful security research, accessibility tools or uses authorised by a resource’s open-source licence. Report suspected security issues through our contact address without sharing other people’s data.

11. Third-party tools.

Courses and resources may refer to external software, hosting providers, AI services or websites. Their availability, pricing and terms are controlled by their providers. Unless expressly included in an offer, your purchase does not include third-party subscriptions or licences.

Review any tool’s terms and privacy settings before uploading information. Example prompts and code need your own review before production use. We remain responsible for our own contractual obligations, including where we use providers to deliver them.

12. Availability and changes.

We take reasonable care to maintain access, but interruptions may occur for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to resolve problems and communicate significant interruptions when practicable.

We may correct errors and update materials. We will not use an update to materially reduce what you have already purchased without a lawful reason and an appropriate remedy where required. If we intend to end a paid service or materially change access, we will give reasonable advance notice where possible and explain your options, including any applicable refund or other remedy.

13. Suspension and termination.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, fraud, security threats or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent action may be needed to protect the service or others.

You can stop using the site at any time; cancel an active subscription separately to stop renewal. We will not automatically confiscate all amounts paid because access is suspended or a contract ends. Refunds, continued download rights and other consequences depend on the reason and applicable law. Contact us if you believe a restriction was mistaken.

14. Responsibility and liability.

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill where that loss was reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for issues caused solely by your misuse of the service, subject always to applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes your mandatory rights to conforming digital content, services or remedies. We do not impose a blanket “as is” exclusion on paid consumer courses or require consumers to indemnify us for all losses.

If you buy wholly for business purposes, we do not accept liability for indirect loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity to the extent the law permits. This does not change the protections in the preceding paragraph.

15. Privacy.

We use information needed to process orders, provide access, handle support and meet legal obligations. Stripe handles payment details. Browser storage supports features such as saved courses, notes and progress. See our privacy notice for the site’s current information and local-data controls, and resource privacy information for saved resource data.

Contact us using the details above to ask about personal information or exercise applicable data-protection rights. These terms do not constitute consent to marketing or override rights under data-protection law.

16. Complaints and applicable law.

Please contact us first with a description of the problem and the outcome you seek. We will consider your complaint and seek a fair resolution. This does not require you to give up a legal remedy or delay action needed to meet a legal deadline.

These terms are governed by Greek law, subject to mandatory rules that apply to you. If you are a consumer habitually resident elsewhere, you retain any non-excludable protections of the law that applies to your purchase. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer jurisdiction rules. These terms do not require exclusive proceedings in Greece or mandatory arbitration.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply where they can operate fairly. A delay in enforcing a right does not by itself waive it.

17. Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The version and date at the top identify this text. Material changes affecting an ongoing paid service will be communicated with reasonable notice where required, including any rights you have to cancel. We will not apply changes retrospectively to remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
